Its been a while since we added to the blog. Its been a great summer and we were not as busy with gigs as during the winter but we did do enough parties and events to keep in the groove. One of these was one of the most fun events we have played over our 7 years as a band. This was a wedding up on top of the mountain in a big tent....and the best part was the enthusiastic crowd composed of various generations. It is so great to have a bunch of kids in their early twenties dancing themselves crazy to our mix of tunes which are as old as 55 years (I think that's how old Twist and Shout is). Gives me faith that the younger generations have good taste in classic music!
We starting to book winter events now and a couple of highlights are a return to Osler Bluff for New Years Eve (in the new Clubhouse) and a booking at the Harbour Street Fish Bar, which is a great place to see the band, on Friday, January 17. Theres more shows in the works and we'll report them here when finalized.
